After School Programmes

For schools who haven’t as yet integrated Drama into their curriculum, but would like to begin their engagement with Drama, we offer our After-School Programmes. This programme negotiates ways by which Drama can be brought into children’s lives, outside school hours, engaging with learners of all ages, and dedicated to furthering their development.

We run After-School Programmes that function both within schools and without in the following ways:

  • At the end of your school day, we create and run Theatre Clubs for children who want to delve deeper into the world of theatre, which will culminate in a student-led performance for parents.
  • As an extra-curricular activity, which introduces Drama, teaches how to use body, voice, and imagination, demonstrated with a performance for parents.
  • Outside school at specific centres, with varied focus. Three of these focus areas are a group-oriented course at the Trinity School of Speech and Drama, for children to develop team-building skills, and find support through interaction, production-oriented classes for different age groups, covering an introduction to Drama, puppetry, mask work, storytelling, role play, mime, and so on, and short workshops for schools that work in shifts, such as morning workshops, that are performance-oriented and provide an introduction to Drama.
